Project Objectives
Senses’ original website lacked the visual serenity and user-friendliness that their retreat embodies. They needed a redesign that would visually transport visitors to the tranquil spaces of their eco-resort.
With many events and practices offered weekly, from yoga sessions to kirtan, Senses wanted an intuitive way to showcase and promote these events, making it easier for guests to discover and engage with their diverse offerings.
Beyond daily practices, Senses offers transformative teacher training programs. They needed a dedicated space on the website to highlight these programs, their curricula, and upcoming dates.
Senses wanted to make it easier for users to place reservations via the website itself and to make it more accessible while increasing leads to the booking system.
Overall, Senses wanted their website to be more than informative; it needed to offer a peaceful, inspiring user experience that aligns with the ethos of a yoga retreat.
Our Solution

By utilizing a colour palette inspired by the natural surroundings (olive greens, earthy browns) along with high-quality images of yoga sessions, and activities, we created an immersive experience augmented by smooth animations and transitions to create movement.
We emphasized textual content over images; and crafted engaging, SEO-friendly descriptions for offerings, events, and retreats. We let content take centre stage with a soothing typeface for readability where images complement the text, improving the user experience and search visibility.
We made the sections easily navigable and engaging by striking the right balance between user experience and the user interface. By prioritizing the website content flow, we made it easier for users to place reservations and reach out to Senses.
